National cuisine
Uzbekistan is famous for its culinary tradition and during your stay, try the national dishes:
Palov is a national dish of rice, meat and spices. In Tashkent, you can try it at the «Besh Qozon» palov center.
Manti – large steamed dumplings with meat filling.
Samsa – meat or pumpkin pies baked in a tandoor.
Shurpa is a flavorful soup made of meat with vegetables and herbs.

Getting around Tashkent
Tashkent is a city with a convenient transportation system. You can use the subway, which is not only fast, but is an architectural landmark in itself.

Weather conditions
The weather in Tashkent on October 29 and 30, 2024 will be quite comfortable for participants. Cloudy skies with possible clearing are expected.
On October 29, daytime temperatures will be around +17°C, and at night will drop to +13°C.
On October 30, temperatures will rise slightly, with daytime temperatures expected to be around +17°C and nighttime temperatures to +14°C. The wind will be light, which will make the stay in the city even more pleasant.
Banks and currency exchange
If you need to exchange currency or use banking services while in Tashkent, here are some convenient options near the venue:
SQB Bank (3 Shakhrisabz St.) – just a 5-minute walk from the venue. The bank is open from 09:00 to 18:00.
Tenge Bank (2 Shakhrisabz St.) – ATMs are a 2-minute walk away and are open 24 hours a day, which is very convenient for cash withdrawal or currency exchange at any time.
InfinBank (17B Mustakillik Street) – also 5 minutes on foot. Work schedule: from 09:00 to 17:00.
Ipoteka Bank (17 Mustakillik Street) – another convenient option in walking distance (5 minutes). It works from 09:00 to 18:00.
Ipak Yoli Bank (5 Hamid Alimdjan Street) – located 5 minutes by cab from the event. The bank is open from 09:00 to 17:00.
